back from oregon!

we just got back from our trip to oregon! it was really great to meet my friend lea in person and spend lots of time with an old friend from high school, brittany, and her partner, daphne. i can't even being to explain how breathtaking oregon is... from the mountains, to the trees, to the ocean, everything is just magical, if you ask me. and the weather! oh man, brandon and i did not want to come back to hot and humid texas after experiencing the fabulous oregon climate!

we had such a great time! thanks to brittany, daphne, and lea for showing me and brandon a great time - it was our favourite vacation so far! you guys are the best!

i don't do scrabble pendants

the one exception:




this beauty! her name is 'lotus', and i will be adding her to my shop later today. i got my hands on some of those gorgeous burgundy scrabble tiles a while back, and instantly knew this paper would look stunning on it. the other special thing about this little pretty is that she doesn't come on a ribbon necklace like the other pendants in my shop: this piece is strung on one of my elegant silver-plated chains (otherwise available as an upgrade in my shop). i love this necklace so much that i greedily made one for myself :p.

so if you love this piece as much as i do, you can buy one for yourself :).
