the cute puppy hanging out with brandon in this photo is rex, our neighbour's dog. he is the sweetest dog ever, and we love when he comes to visit. once a week or so, we see him run up to our patio, so we go outside and play with him for a bit before walking him back home. yesterday we were fortunate enough to get 2 visits from little rex :p. i guess his owners don't care that he wanders over to our house, because they don't ever seem upset that he ran off in the first place when we return him to his home.

I'd be happy to have a visit like that.
i know! i think he wants to come live with us, which makes us sad because we want him to live with us, too, and his owners don't seem to care because they let him run off, and they don't seem grateful that we return him safely home :(. if rex was our dog, we'd make sure he was always safe! what if a car hit him? people in our tiny town drive carelessly and fast on our dirt roads.
