since i am trying to lose a bunch of weight before the wedding in october (well, preferably i'll lose the weight before i get fitted for my dress!), i have had to give up eating most fast food and a lot of the snacks i used to eat while around the house (chocolates, chips, and the like). i've also had to get used to eating smaller portions, which i am finally used to.
in the course of my journey to weight loss, i have experimented with many a dried fruit, stale granola bar, and other nastycrap "snacks", but, of course, those don't taste good.
you know what does taste good? cantaloupe.
that's my bowl of fruit up there^. looks tasty, huh? :)
i have also been enjoying strawberry yogurt with organic, raspberry touched granola for breakfast and a trail mix of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and organic raisins for in-between-meal hunger times.
i've lost about 5 pounds in 2 weeks, so it's working! i've also been doing pilates and playing 'dance dance revolution' several times a week, so that, i'm sure, is helping, too.
well, i'm off to prepare a yummy dinner for my fiance and me.
